SEXUAL HARASSMENT TRAINING

NEW 2019 MANDATORY REGULATORY COMPLIANCE CHANGES WILL IMPACT MOST EMPLOYERS.
A major regulatory change is going into effect for the State of California on Sexual Harassment. The old Sexual Harassment Training law only applied to companies with 50 or more employees. Beginning on January 1st, 2019, companies with 5 or more employees must now provide training to all employees. The training duration has also changed from 30 min. To 60 min. For regular employees and 2 hrs. For supervisors, which will require most employers in the state of CA to retrain.

THE TRAINING360 PLATFROM
To help companies meet the challenges of this new law, DeSario Insurance is pleased to introduce Training360 which currently features 170 courses titled videos in English and Spanish, for employers to meet their Industry, HR, and OSHA compliance training needs. In the first quarter of 2019 the New California, Sexual compliant training video will be added to the library. Compliance is becoming a bigger issue in California, as is litigation regarding non-compliance, thus we are endeavoring to help our clients meet the growing requirements of the Department of Labor, the California EDD, OSHA, as well as the Contractors State License Board.
